The Creative Coalition and Alcon Entertainment Create Strategic Marketing Alliance Under Spotlight Initiative Banner Brings Cause-Related Marketing Values to Alcon's Upcoming Film Slate

Los Angeles, CA, February 29, 2012 - The Creative Coalition and Alcon Entertainment have formed a strategic partnership under the nonprofit's distinguished Spotlight Initiative banner. Under this alliance, The Creative Coalition will coordinate cause-related marketing components into promotional campaigns for Alcon's film slate including their upcoming project, SPEEDBOYS.

The Creative Coalition created the Spotlight Initiative in 2008 as an integrated partnership that champions the art and craft of filmmaking by providing alternative marketing and public relations resources that allows a film's message to reach beyond the movie screen to the grassroots.   Under The Spotlight Initiative, The Creative Coalition has been involved in a series of films with a unique and specific goal in mind: make a positive difference in the world by using the messages in cinema to support issue agendas.

"Today, our citizenry demands socially conscious activism from the products and companies that it supports, and entertainment is no exception," commented CEO of The Creative Coalition, Robin Bronk. "Alcon Entertainment understands the power, inspiration and influence of film on issues that serve the common good.  We are excited to be working with a film production company that is socially conscious."

"We are pleased and delighted to announce this strategic partnership with The Creative Coalition," says Alcon's co-founders and co-Chief Executive Officers, Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson. "We can think of no better partner to be a coordinator and custodian of Alcon films' cause-related campaigns.  We know that movies have an enormous impact on society.  We look forward to doing well by doing good with The Creative Coalition.  We look forward to working with them as we present new and meaningful ways to engage film audiences around the world."
